The show, which was broadcasted exclusively on Maisha Magic East, drew contestants from all over the country and proved to be very entertaining.
The six comedians who made it to the finals gave their final act, starting off with Amos Kiptabut, then Rashid Abdala, Lucy Mwende, Daniel Oloo, Sammy Kioko and finally Bernard Otieno.
The show also had brilliant guest performances from Nyanya Rukia, the resilient lady Nasra, and UK-based Malawian comedian Daliso Chaponda. Many know him from his participation in Britain’s Got Talent, where he emerged in the top 3.
After that it was back to the business of the day – crowning the Ultimate Comic winner. All the 6 contestants joined Churchill on stage and Rashid Abdala, Lucy Mwende and Daniel Oloo were ranked in the 4th, 5th and 6th position in no particular order.
Then, James Muhia, the Quality and Assurance Partner and Maisha Magic East channel representative Timothy Okwaro presented the final and verified results.
…and the winner was SAMMY KIOKO!
He won one million Kenya shillings and a brand-new car, and his family was there to celebrate with him.
