Alex noticed Getrude when she was still in high school and thought to himself that she is the one. He pursued her without difficulty as Getrude also liked him, but had to wait for her to finish school, in order to officially make a move. After being together for 11 years and 3 attempts at planning a wedding and always cancelling they have decided to go on with the plans despite Getrude’s father being hospitalized.
